- Well, what happens next month is entirely up to you. Hopefully this first
- issue will be the smallest this mag will ever be. If you wish for this mag
- to continue, and get bigger and better, then make sure you send in your
- comments and suggestions, because thats the only way we have of knowing
- there`s people who are interested.
- Anyway, next month, we hope to have 1 disk full of your pictures, and
- 2 disks full of your octamed tunes, and hopefully 10 pd software
- utilities and games for you, and also some top games reviewed.(maybe
- even a demo!)
- Also there will be tips and cheats for about 80 to 90 games by the way
- of "game tamer" and your contributions.
- Please note, that if you have bought this full magazine from a PD library,
- then we will not have recieved any money for this, and therefore
- will not be able to release another mag. Please only buy it from us direct
- and inform us if you have purchased it anywhere else.

- IMPORTANT NOTICE
- ----------------
- Unfortunately, due to us only having a workbench 2
- machine, we dont know if there`s any bugs if you are
- using any other machine. We do know that the pieces of
- music on the full version will not work on the 1200, but
- if you disable the bits and bobs on startup, hopefully
- you shoudn`t have any problem. Let us know.
- On the complete issue you will recieve:-
- 3 disks packed with lots of stuff.
- And this only costs 3.50 if you send in this disk (or see
- below.).
- If you have a 1.3 and want the kick up disk just write it
- somewhere and we will send it with your first issue.
- Thanks.

- Note1
- Good Points.
- Great graphics.
- Good sound.
- Very Addictive.
- Very well thought out.
- Bad Points.
- Inertia could have been a bit lighter.
- The fly level was a complete waste of time
- and it`s too hard and too small.
- Loading time is a bit long.
- Overall:
- This game will make an exellant addition
- to your collection.
- GET IT!

- Lemming 2 review

- Note1
-
- LEMMINGS II
- Okee dokee, lets go with this one.
- Right, if you havent heard of the lemmings, then send us your adress
- and we will personally come round and laugh at you.
- These little critters have sparked off a bucket load of weird and
- wacky things in the computer industry. Ranging from lemming asteroids to
- operation lemmings to lemming olympics.
- Well now the original creators have come up with the latest in this era.
- Set sometime after we rescued them,(I didnt, I was crap at it) they settled
- down to a well earned rest and built themselves a city to live in.
- Now this city is under threat from some kind of meteor or something and
- we have been called to rescue them once more.
- Well to tell you the truth, this game is just the same as the rest of em
- but thats not to say that it no good, because it is. God knows what this
- game has over people but it has and I like it!
- This time though the screen moves up and down as well so the levels are
- big and better. One downer in my point is that after all these PD
- releases, and cartoons and lemmingoids stuff, The lemmings had this
- cartoony look to them (you have seen them in the mags) and unfortunately
- in the game the programmers made them too real, so they dont look like
- our lemmings at all.

- Good Points
- great graphics (as usual)
- Exellent learning curve
- Quick loading
- Fantastic Practise mode
- Great fun to play
- Bad Points
- If you played the first 2
- then this could be
- oh no even more lemmings
- (But thats not really a bad point)
- Page13
- Note1
- Yes we will be doing game reviews as
- well, BUT! not in the usual way.
- We tell you the plot.
- We tell you roughly how it plays.
- We tell you if it takes 2 drives.
- We tell you how long it takes to load.
- In other words, we give you the hard
- facts! Sorted.

- Note1
- There are plenty of pictures in the full edition
- of Amiga Help, but not enough. We need even more than
- the thousands that we have already got.
- The aim of this magazine is to give you people a
- decent, no fuss, easy to use system disk magazine that
- will appeal to all people. If we have enough support
- then we might get up to 6 or 7 disks big, and this
- will only cost you 5 or 6 pounds. but at the moment
- the full issue is on 3 disks available to you for 3.50
- if you send in this disk. ( Not bad for 2 megabytes
- of samples and 5 PD games or utilities that are
- actually useful and 7 pictures and 7 songs and lots of
- cheats and help) As you can see, Its very worth your
- while getting it.
- Note2
- If you want to, you could send
- in your pictures or song and
- still get the full issue for
- only 3.50.
- That way issue 2 will be well
- under way .
- Note3
- main menu.
- Page15
- Note1
- Public Domain Eh? Where would we be without it?
- When you send off your disk, you wil get around 5 PD
- games or utilities and all with complete instructions
- on how to use them.
- If you bring this magazine up to a very high standard,
- which is only capable if you send in your songs an
- pictures, then we should have loads more of them and
- you will save even more money on them.
- Lets think about it. 5 pd utilities or games cost on
- avarage 1.50 per disk. Now the complete issue costs
- only 3.50 and you get a whole lot more besides.
- Well what are you waiting for, lets not let the
- amiga die!
- Note2
- main menu
- Page16
- Note1
- Wouldnt it be nice if we could all understand
- workbench? Yes?
- Well nows your chance because we have created a
- workbench section done for the beginner and this
- is done by a beginner so if he does not understand
- it then he will persevere untill he does and give
- it to you in PLAIN ENGLISH. Not like the manuals
- in complete jargon.
- Everything from drawers to cli and shell are
- explained in easy language and if that doesnt help
- then issue 2 should have you lot answering
- questions for other readers, therefore making a
- very interactive column.
- Note2
- click here for the main
- Page17
- Note1
- These songs were produced on an amiga 500+
- with 2 megabytes of memory using Octamed pro
- Even you could write songs, so send in for your
- complete magazine and get loads of samples off
- the disk and listen to these other songs as
- well. If you think about it, 3.50 for 3 jam
- packed disks ( And I mean jam Packed, I had
- trouble squeezing issue 1 on them) is not bad
- so if you send us your songs instead, then it
- will be ok.
